Computations and Transmission

The Real Time Service provides the orbits and clocks corrections that are necessary for the Precise Point Positioning (PPP) on the user side. It encodes these corrections in a well-defined standard (here the RTCM 3.1 standard) in real time and produces daily files for post-processing. This service is based on the PPP-WIZARD demonstrator, a 'proof of concept' of the zero-difference ambiguity resolution method developed in the orbit determination and navigation service at CNES. It uses as input the real-time measurements provided by a GNSS network of stations gathered by the CNES REGINA caster, the computation is done by means of a Kalman filter.
