Integration of STPM station
In the framework of SONEL project, the GNSS station STPM station was installed by IGN in June 2013 at Saint Pierre and Miquelon, French overseas territory.
Collocated with a tide gauge, this observatory aims to provide continuous high quality measurements of sea and land levels at the coast for studies of long-term sea level trends.
SONEL developpe an integrated global observing system, which is linking both the tide gauge and the GNSS databases to provide high quality data to the international scientific community.
As STPM met REGINA requirements, it was integrated into the network to densify the North American coverage.
